In 1993, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) certified Capital CDC to act as a provider of the SBA’s 504 Loan Program and to act as a catalyst for economic development.
Since that time, Capital CDC has worked with hundreds of small businesses and partnered with multiple financial institutions to assist with their needs to finance building acquisitions, construction projects, and machinery and equipment.
The small business has always stood as a cornerstone of the U.S. economy. From the earliest days of our nation, the Main Street dream of limitless opportunity and hard work leading to prosperity has helped define and differentiate America.
Right now, however, things are all topsy-turvy. Amidst economic uncertainty, belts are tightening. Small and mid-sized businesses’ access to credit and capital is being diminished – leaving many entrepreneurs to worry about how they are going to secure the resources they need.
Despite all the turmoil, Capital CDC’s commitment remains firm. Over the past quarter alone, we‘ve partnered with numerous lending institutions in both Texas and New Mexico, approving some 43 loans totaling more than $22 million to our small business customers.
