David Reed

Mr. David Reed serves as Loan Closing Associate for Capital Certified Development Corporation's Loan Products Group. He joined the Capital CDC team in February 2004 with the Incentive Products Group and transferred to Capital CDC’s Loan Products Group in June 2005. David’s position serves as a liaison between the Business Development Officer, Borrower, Third Party Lender and the Closing Attorney on each project that is in process for the SBA offices in Capital CDC's area of operations.

Prior to moving into Capital CDC’s Loan Products Group, David was primarily responsible for supporting Capital CDC’s Incentive Products Group. This included research and collection of information required in applications for designations, certifications and funding from state and local governments, preparation of applications, assembling and analyzing employee data for compliance with program guidelines and hiring requirements, and telephone / e-mail follow-up with government agencies and clients.

Prior to joining Capital Certified Development Corporation, David worked as an assistant property manager with Watson & Taylor Management Company and also worked for the field operations division of the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission (TNRCC), currently Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), as a data management coordinator.
