Deborah Bishop

Ms. Deborah Bishop joined the Capital Certified Development Corporation as our Loan Closing Manager in the Spring of 2006. In this capacity, she works with borrowers, lenders, and the Small Business Administration offices to ensure that our SBA 504 Loans are processed, closed, and funded in a timely and efficient manner.

Prior to joining Capital CDC, Deborah worked for Wells Fargo Bank as their SBA Loan Documentation Manager for Texas. There her primary responsibilities included: directing and monitoring unit's activities; ensuring accurate document preparation and loan accounting; participating in management team activities; assuring policies and procedures were adhered to and controls were sufficient to protect the Bank's assets; creating new policies and procedures; overseeing quality control process; and assisting in managing budget processes.

Prior to working with Wells Fargo Bank, she worked as a Loan Officer and Credit Analyst with Liberty National Bank in Austin. At Liberty National Bank, she was responsible for developing and monitoring a loan portfolio and developing spreadsheets on applicant information as well as researching and developing company profiles for use by loan officers.

Deborah has worked with SBA lending for approximately 15 years to include credit analysis, application, closing, servicing, and liquidation processes.

Deborah earned a B.B.A. in Finance at Texas Tech University. She is a member of the National Association of Development Companies (NADCO) and the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders (NAGGL).
