Helena Goodson

Helena Goodson joined the Capital CDC team in November of 2006 to serve as the Associate Business Development Officer serving the San Antonio market. In July of 2007 she was promoted to Business Development Officer. Helena is responsible for administering and underwriting the SBA's 504 Loan Program in the San Antonio area. The 504 Loan Program is designed to provide long-term, fixed asset financing for small businesses.

Prior to joining Capital CDC, Helena was the Executive Director for the Kyle Area Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau in Kyle, Texas. Helena has been actively involved in the continuing growth and development of the Kyle area. She brings to Capital CDC a diverse background in hotel and restaurant management as well as extensive experience with Chambers of Commerce, specifically in economic development. Prior to her arrival at the Kyle Chamber, she spent some time at the Calgary Chamber of Commerce in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Helena also held the position of Membership, Activities and Marketing Director at The Houston Club in downtown Houston.

Helena pursued her degree at the Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel & Restaurant Management at the University of Houston. She is a member of the Leadership Team of the Business Network International Corridor Platinum Connections Chapter as well as a member of the National Association of Development Companies (NADCO).
