Jason Villarreal

Mr. Jason Villarreal serves as Strategic Operations Manager for Capital Certified Development Corporation (Capital CDC). Strategically, Jason is responsible with the development and implementation of corporate initiatives and making sure they are aligned with the overall corporate strategy. Operationally, Jason is charged with the performance management of corporate initiatives and tracking their financial and strategic impact.

Previously at Capital CDC, Jason worked in the Incentive Products Group by assisting Texas businesses and communities access a variety of local, state, and federal economic development programs. Jason worked with community leaders around Texas to develop and advocate pro-business economic development laws to enhance corporate expansion and retention plans. Jason also led the implementation of job creation and accounting tracking programs within client companies to leverage and maximize tax savings as they tapped into local, state, and federal economic development programs.

Prior to joining Capital CDC, Jason worked as a consultant at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG). While at BCG, Jason worked on a variety of corporate strategy and growth projects for global Industrial Goods companies. Jason led global teams in developing industry, market, competitor, and technology profiles for his clients. He focused on several topics, such as new product development, supply chain management, manufacturing, corporate marketing and sales, process optimization, and information technology in capital-intensive industries. Jason also managed the business functions in North and South America of the Industrial Goods Practice Area, including formation of the business plan, business development plans, and budget.

Mr. Villarreal also worked at the Harvard Graduate School of Education in Student Affairs where he developed and managed student programs. Prior to graduate school, Jason worked at National Instruments as a Customer Service Supervisor where he managed large government and system integrator accounts.

Jason earned his B.A. in Government at Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA. He also has an M.B.A. from Harvard University in Boston, MA.
