Timothy Schwader

Timothy Schwader joined Capital Certified Development Corporation in February of 2008, as a Loan Specialist in the Loan Underwriting & Processing Group. Capital CDC's Loan Specialists work closely with borrowers, lenders, and local branches of the SBA to efficiently administer and underwrite the 504 Loan Program. The 504 Loan Program provides up to 90% fixed-rate, long-term financing on commercial real estate and qualified equipment for small businesses.

New to Austin-but not to Texas-Timothy arrived at Capital CDC with four years of experience in working with the SBA 504 Loan Program at Nevada State Development Corporation in Reno, Nevada. Timothy served as a Lending Assistant at this CDC, and in this role he was involved in all aspects of packaging, processing, underwriting, and submitting 504 Loans-from inception to closing. His earlier work experience includes roles in staff accounting, data processing, and customer service.

Timothy is a veteran of the United States Air Force, where he proudly served as a meteorologist at Vance Air Force Base in Oklahoma and at locations in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Bahrain during two tours in support of Operations Desert Storm, Desert Shield, and Southern Watch. Timothy was named the Air Force Weather Airman of the Year in 1995. He was raised in an Army family, and has lived all over the USA, Germany, England, and the Middle East, but Texas is his true home. After many years away, Timothy relocated to Austin to be closer to his family in Lewisville, Texas.

Timothy earned his BA in English with a minor in Management and his AA in general studies from the University of Maryland's European Division in England. He also earned an AAS in Meteorology from the Community College of the Air Force. Timothy has completed over 80 credit hours in credit analysis and title work through NADCO, RMA, and other accredited organizations.
