Thomas Braasch was recently appointed by Capital CDC's Board of Directors as Executive Director -- effective September 2009. Mr. Braasch joined Capital Certified Development Corporation (Capital CDC) in June of 2008 to serve as the Business Development Director. Strategically, Thomas is responsible for the effective management of Capital CDC’s business development officers, strategic sales objectives and planning, and growth of the company, as a whole.
Prior to joining Capital CDC, Thomas worked as a Director of sales for an international environmental services company where he led a National sales team and developed business relationships with Fortune 500 companies. Thomas also served as Principal for Cap Gemini Ernst & Young Consulting Group. While at CGE&Y, he directed business development and delivery of a variety of services and business process solutions for National companies such as USAA, a financial services company. He has served as Vice President and managed successful business start-ups.
Mr. Braasch developed his management skills at Texas Instruments, Inc. where he served as a program manager. Thomas brings to Capital CDC, years of experience in business development, business operations, product services development, and sales leadership.
Thomas earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Texas Tech University and has graduate studies in business management with the University of Texas at Dallas. He is also a member of the National Association of Development Companies (NADCO) and serves as a Board member for Capital CDC.
