San Antonio Development Officer

Amy Cooper joined Capital Certified Development Corporation as a Business Development Officer and is responsible for administering the SBA's 504 Loan Program in the San Antonio area. The 504 Loan Program is designed to provide long-term, fixed-rate, low-equity financing for the real property / fixed asset needs of small businesses.

Prior to joining Capital CDC, Amy was an active professional in the Austin commercial real estate finance business for the past eleven years. She started her career with SBA lending at The Money Store. Since that time, she has furthered her experience and knowledge with Lehman Brothers Small Business Finance. At Lehman Brothers, Amy had the ability to work with several facets of commercial real estate lending such as, SBA, conventional owner user, investor and multi-family. Amy has worked all phases of a commercial loan transaction, with direct involvement coordinating brokers, borrowers, sellers, title companies, appraisals, environmental due diligence, contractors and documentation staff. She has participated in over 250 commercial loan transactions worth approximately $150,000,000.

Amy came to Austin from Victoria, Texas where she attended Victoria Community College with a focus in banking and finance. She is a board member and sponsorship chair with CREW Austin (Commercial Real Estate Women), a CCIM member, and she is a member of the National Association of Development Companies (NADCO).
