Julie Spaulding

Closing Associate

Julie originally joined Capital Certified Development Corporation as a Loan Specialist with the Loan, Underwriting and Processing Group in April 2007 and has recently shifted into the position of Closing Associate with the Closing Group. Her responsibilities include assisting the Underwriting Department in requesting, monitoring and processing 504 Loan documentation, as well as interfacing with Lenders, SBA and Borrowers regarding the loan process. The 504 Loan Program is designed to provide long – term, fixed asset financing for small businesses.

Most recently Julie has served as a Certified Business Analyst for the Austin Small Business Development Center (SBDC), a partnership program between the U.S. Small Business Administration and Texas State University. Julie provided counseling and financial training to start-up and expanding small businesses in Williamson County. In addition, she represented the SBDC at Chamber of Commerce Business Expos and taught business workshops and seminars focusing on business plan preparation, financial analysis and securing capital.

Julie has also completed several continuing education courses through the National Development Counsel, UT San Antonio Institute of Economic Development, Association of Small Business Development and Austin Community College. Julie is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a BS in Economics and Business and is a member of the National Association of Development Companies (NADCO).
