According to the SBA, Houston District loan approvals are up 23%. An e-mail newsletter sent out this month states that "the Houston District Office approved $341 million in loans to 673 small businesses at the end of the second quarter of fiscal year 2015 (October 2014 - March 2015). This represents an increase of 23% and 29% respectively in dollars and units over the same period last year."
