To celebrate the future home of Live Oak Brewing Company, Capital CDC will host a groundbreaking ceremony on December 3, 2014, in coordination with Commerce National Bank, and Structura General Contractors.
Live Oak is the city’s oldest craft brewery, making extraordinary lagers and ales since 1997. Live Oak employs an old-world style of brewing rarely found in America today but practiced extensively throughout Germany and the Czech Republic. A decoction mash, open fermentation, and secondary lagering are essential to duplicate the rich maltiness and unique flavors of central European beers.
