Fun and Fitness Gymnastics was created to meet the growing demand for a premier gymnastics facility to serve Houston’s west side, as well as the surrounding communities of Katy, Richmond, Fulshear, Brookshire, Sealy and Wallis.
Owners Hideo and Kellie Mizoguchi are both previous world-class gymnasts who have gone on to become highly reputable gymnastics coaches and consultants, whom both have a passion for the sport. In addition to being gymnasts, Hideo was formerly Technical Director of the USA Gymnastics for over 10 years and currently serves on USA Gymnastics’ Men’s National Team Selection Committee. His wife, Kellie, was the youngest HAWGJ (National Association of Women’s Gymnastics Judges) Directors in St. Louis. She is a well-known and nationally respected Elite Choreographer. Hideo and Kellie combined coaching experience, totaling over 75 years. The couple has leaded their respective reams to number State, Regional, Western, and National titles.
With the help of the SBA 504 loan, Fun and Fitness Gymnastics was able to move into their new 22,500 SF facility, located just 8 miles away from their current location! The new location will better assist with their 800+ current students and the growing demand for gymnastics in the Houston area.
