Few people have the love and commitment to soccer as SoccerZone founder, Tim Medina. Founded in November 2001, Medina created a company focused on bringing an unique soccer experience to Austin. With his innovative approach, Medina created an experience for players and families alike, that begins as soon as you walk in the door. Later, Medina partnered with Darren Brown to bring indoor soccer to South Austin. SoccerZone South Austin opened in January 2008, and has successfully operated for over four years. The company just opened its second location in Cedar Park, Texas – with the help of a SBA 504 Loan.

SoccerZone Lakeline will provide a variety of sports, including dodgeball, basketball, flag football, lacrosse, and kickball. The heart of the facility is still soccer, though. In addition, sporting leagues and tournaments are offered with refereed competitive matches at any level of play; soccer and fitness clinics are held at the facility; and team events such as meetings, birthdays, and group outings can be accommodated. With its one-of-a-kind facility, world class trainers, and unrivaled commitment to customer service SoccerZone will soon be the leader in the indoor sports industry. The company hopes to stimulate the local economy by creating seven full-time and sixteen part-time jobs over the next two years. In addition, the opening of this facility creates a state-of-the-art sports training venue for North Austin.

Capital CDC is proud to have partnered with OMNIBANK, NA on financing this loan through the SBA 504 Loan Program. To celebrate the company, both OMNIBANK and Capital CDC sent representatives to the grand opening of SoccerZone Lakeline on Saturday, March 16th. The community came out in full force to see the new facility and partake in the festivities. We believe SoccerZone will be a huge success and wish them all the luck needed to run such a wonderful business!
