Texas Tissue Converting Utilizes SBA 504 Financing for 400,000 SF Facility and Third Converting Line
Texas Tissue's third SBA 504 loan has allowed them to house their operations under one roof as they continue to expand operations.
Texas Tissue Converting LLC provides paper converting and tissue converting of bath tissue, paper towels, hand towels, and more. Texas Tissue Converting takes “parent reels” and converts them to “end-user” toilet tissue, for wholesale to Fortune 500 tissue manufacturers, distributors, and large-scale box stores. Texas Tissue Converting offers an innovative and tailor-made service for its customers, offering a wide range of products for the daily use in the consumer segment.
Capital CDC has financed three SBA 504 loans with Texas Tissue Converting - for two converting lines in 2015 & 2018 and a 3rd loan in 2021 for leasehold improvements, purchasing a 3rd converting line, and moving their 2 existing converting lines to a 400,000 SF facility. These loans allowed Texas Tissue Converting to house their operations, including equipment, under one roof while being able to continue to expand.
Texas Tissue Converting continues to grow, especially with the current demand for paper products over the last couple of years, and has created 80 jobs since 2015, averaging between 20 and 30 new jobs per SBA 504 Loan.
