Capital CDC offers a variety of small business loans to accommodate the needs of entrepreneurs. Since 1993, the SBA 504 Loan Program has been our flagship product. Recently, we began offering alternative loan products to complement our SBA 504 Loan expertise. These programs include the SBA 504 Refinance Program and the Community Advantage Loan Program.
The SBA 504 Loan Program
The SBA 504 Loan Program assists small business owners in the purchase of commercial real estate or equipment. The SBA 504 Loan Program is a partnership program between a Certified Development Company (CDC) and a lender. Working with qualified lenders, Capital CDC provides up to 90% financing for commercial property purchases and new construction.

The Community Advantage Loan Program
The Community Advantage Loan Program is available for existing and start-up small businesses. This program is particularly focused to assist small businesses in "underserved" markets with the financing of working capital, operating expenses, franchise fees, and small equipment. Capital CDC offers Community Advantage as a standalone 7(a) or as a companion to the SBA 504 Loan (Commercial Real Estate) and provides financing for items that are ineligible for 504 funding.
