Nitro Swimming

Nitro Swimming was introduced to the Austin swim community in August of 2006, when it began as an USA Swimming age group program relying on leases with several indoor heated pool facilities throughout the city. In June of 2007, Nitro Swim Center officially opened as the first privately owned, indoor swim facility in Cedar Park, Texas.  Since then, the company has experienced tremendous growth, leading to the need for an additional facility in far west Austin.

In 2012, Nitro Swimming opened their doors on a nine acre property in Bee Cave, Texas. The 30,000 square foot state-of-the-art indoor facility that features an Olympic size competition/training pool and a dedicated swim lessons pool with a state-of-the-art water quality system engineered for optimum comfort and safety. Owners Michael and Tracy Koleber built the facility to reduce energy use by at least 10% compared to the Cedar Park location. The new facility has created numerous new jobs and continues to see rapid growth with new incoming swimmers!
